Lines in at 7 p.m. Lines out at 8 a.m. One pound minimum. Team event.

  • Santa Clara Bassbusters Delta individual event

Santa Clara Bassbusters Delta individual event

    Event Starts: 06-22-19
This is an individual event, so each angler will receive a PIN for the website and is responsible for his or her own catches. We're launching at Sugar Barge at approximately 5:15 a.m. (first light). Please have your scales ready for inspection by 4:45. I don't mind if both boater and co-angler use the same scale, but please make sure your scales are already set to pounds and ounces to save time during calibration. Tournament time will be 5:45 (sunrise) to 4 p.m. There will be no buffer time at the end of the tournament to add fish, so please make sure all of your catches upload prior to 4 p.m. However, if you catch a legal fish as time is expiring and it's in the boat before tournament time expires, it will be accepted. No photo necessary, just log the weight and I will add it during the round-up. A scoreable fish must weigh at least one pound. Please have your partner verify the weight; for those fishing alone, please use your best judgement and sportsman-like honesty. Please log your own weight to Scoretracker once your partner verifies the catch. There are no off-limits areas but for those posted as such and any waters within 50' around gas docks. Good luck. • Bassbusters Lake Berryessa Team Event

    Bassbusters Lake Berryessa Team Event

    Event Starts: 05-18-19
This is a team event at Lake Berryessa. We are launching from Capell Cove. Both boater and co-angler will weigh their combined fish for a cumulative weight. All species must weigh at least one (1) pound. We will begin our ride-through at first/safe light, which is approximately 5:30 a.m. Tournament lines-in will begin at 6 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Per our discussion at the meeting, there will be no buffer time added to the tournament app, which means it is your responsibility to make it to a zone that offers cell reception in order to upload your fish BEFORE the expiration of tournament app time. If you catch a legal fish at the last moment before 4:00 p.m. it will count, even if you can't add it to the app before it closes. Just note its weight and let me know at the debriefing. Remember responsible sportsmanship. If for some reason the app unexpectedly "ends" before 4:00 p.m., please continue to fish and record your legal weights as they will count towards your team total. No photo is required, but you're welcome to take photos of fish on the scale if you'd like. Please be ready for scale calibration by 4:45 a.m. in the Capell Ramp parking lot. This will give people plenty of time to get their boats in the water if they'd prefer to do that after scale calibration. We are still working through issues with these events, so please remember to be patient, talk to me if you have a suggestion, and we can discuss it as a club. But most of all, remember to have fun with this. We will streamline these events as we become more familiar with how they operate. Will 408-661-6351

  • Santa Clara Bassbusters Lake McClure One-Day Team Event

Santa Clara Bassbusters Lake McClure One-Day Team Event

    Event Starts: 03-24-19
One day, team event. Launching from Barrett Cove Recreation Area. Bass must weigh a minimum of 1 (one) pound to be considered a legal catch. Tournament hours will be from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The app will not be scheduled to close until 3:45, (hopefully) preventing any more issues such as those we experienced at Camanche. If a legal bass is caught and in the boat before tournament time expires (3:30 p.m.), it will count. No photo is necessary; it is up to you the police yourself and your partner when it comes to the legality of fish. Please respect the process. However, IF, for some reason, the app crashes/closes/shuts down for anyone and/or everyone BEFORE 3:30 p.m., please photograph each of your legal catches and they will be accepted assuming the time stamp is NOT 3:30 or later. Blast-off time will be around first light, appx. 6:45-6:50 a.m. This is a new lake for many, so we'll have a few more minutes for ride-through. Please have your scales ready for calibration no later than 5:45 a.m. You will receive your Scoretracker PIN once your scales have been checked. My number is 408-661-6351 if you have any questions on the water. Will Doud-Martin
